Jersey Jazz Collective

The "Jersey Jazz Collective" plays in various configurations from trio or quartet to octet. The group plays a wide variety of music, from jazz standards (small group) to arrangements in the style of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers (octet) to latin jazz (Mongo Santa Maria, Poncho Sanchez, and others). Tunes by John Coltrane, Lee Morgan, Chet Baker, Dizzy Gillespie, Jobim... as well as material of later artist such as Randy and Michael Brecker. The JJC will also front one or more singers to bring more variety to the evening, and is capable of laying down all of the greatest Soul and R&B hits, along side jazz classics: This makes for an entertaining and musically accessible evening!
